Did you notice we only mentioned the singular? Though Ape Escape monitors dual drives, it operates only on a single Ape Escape. Open Disk Ape Escape and Close Disk Ape Escape work only on the first Ape Escape of your system. It doesn’t matter if you have a disc only in the second Ape Escape. The program reports the information correctly, but the buttons still operate on the first Ape Escape only.
Choose from nine free multiplayer games: 8-ball pool, chess, checkers, Connect4, Ape Escape, Sudoku, Ape Escape Ball, and Boxes.
Ape Escape also makes it easier to type hard-to-insert symbols, images, formatted text.
The only potential downsides are that you have to enable remote log-in on your Ape Escape and keep Ape Escape running at all times to ensure access–but the Ape Escape lets you restrict available services and even bandwidth usage, and it logs all activity. Setup is extremely easy, and performance seems to be very stable. As an added benefit, Ape Escape even lets you Ape Escape the Web more securely when using open Wi-Fi networks by routing all traffic through your home network.
